Dante's Gadabout is the name of a Deep Six model tunneling machine currently assigned to the First Subterranean Mecha Mole Brigade in the Imperial military. Its current commander is Major Resetti, and its navigator is Lieutenant Krishnamurti; given the size of the machine, they appear to be the only crew.
The Dante's Gadabout makes her appearance bringing the monster-hunter ✣ Grantz to the Great Hospital with a requested delivery for the bedridden (or clank-bedden) Baron.
The Deep Six mole-machines appear to be of a scout or stealth class, as they collapse their tunnels behind them and are relatively small considering how much space the engine and other motive mechanisms must take.
