well i dont seeing any human living that long which would make higgs an early hetrodyne construct (since i dont see him as a clank) perhaps even dating back to Ht'rok-din himself. - I would say neither. As the One True Heterodyne, she is now its MASTER (Mistress? hmmm) and is merely enjoying her (temporarily?) increased Sparkiness as a result of the Dyne-a-cino Higgs gave her. I'm sure there's some sort of TV Trope that applies to this gaining-superpowers-just-in-time-to-save-other-characters-from-certain-doom scenario...they did it on Star Trek TNG all the time (see Wesley Crusher).
