OhNoYouDont

Welcome to the party, gal!

Note the Jägers hat! 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 04:26, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

(Yes, what a very fine hat, Rej!) That last panel is priceless... the punchline of a very long setup. Quite schmot of the Jägers to put themselves where they did. Monumenterment 05:15, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
This is one of the few times where you get to leave it the words and don't even need a caption! LittleAlvinMaker 01:01, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, a nice hat that has a trilobite sigl, not a winged castle sigl. The Jaegers have many, many years experience at warfare. Tvtropes places them under "Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass". Do not under estimate them. AndyAB99 11:20, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

"Commander! The jaegers are revolting!" "We already knew that." "No, I mean they're rebelling!" —jdreyfuss 12:07, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

The Jaegers left the Baron's service shortly after Agtha entered Der Kestle. The Heliolux Airfleet is just outside of Mechanicsburg, And Mama Gkika's, being inside the city, probably also heard Der Kestle recognize Agatha. They didn't need to hear the Doom Bell to start operations. AndyAB99 13:42, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm. A truly scary though about the sigils. The Wulfenbach sigil is a Winged Castle because that's what Klaus has actually done. The fact that the Future Agatha has a Winged Trilobyte as a Sigil, does that mean she has gotten all of the Castle to float? (or even all of Mechanicsburg?)Naraht 14:28, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

It's been suggested elsewhere on this site that a winged sigil signifies the head of the House, not anything about the nature of the House. —jdreyfuss 14:56, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
Interesting. I had interpreted the winged trilobite as the sigl of the House of Heterodyne-Wulfenbach (it has only been seen in the time portal). And the wings on the sigl of Sturmvoraus/Valois as indicating they were part of the Wulfenbach empire. But I agree with jdreyfuss in that I don't think they mean that the house castle is airborne. There's a lot of history in this wiki. Some of the previous discussion is in Forum:Sigils with wings (last updated a little over two years ago, my last comment was three years ago). Argadi 01:33, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

I have a feeling that the missing units are suffering the effects of the DOOOM... And I love the Jäger. The hat, the "punchline," the mysterious reappearance, everything! ~Mysteria Femina~ (talkAvatar wall) 02:53, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Anyone else noticed that communications operators wear wireless (optical, just like the rest of their communications system) headphones? 75.61.99.39 13:42, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

There might be wires on the back, hidden behind their shoulders and their hair. ~Mysteria Femina~ (talkAvatar wall) 21:00, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

No, I think, they are wireless -- each headset has a lens where otherwise would be an antenna. It's also worth to be noted that there are real-life infrared headphones and optical microphones, just not a combination of those.75.61.99.39 06:28, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
Also is it just me, or do those earpieces look a lot like the ones on Star Trek? With slight modifications to make them more appropriate for the setting, of course. --Kobold0racle 20:01, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
And doesn't the African operator remind you of Lt. Uhura? Even down to the speech pattern? AndyAB99 02:49, November 15, 2011 (UTC)

Whether or not the authors have figured it into the story, this could prove politically sticky, as Tarvek might point out were he able to at the moment. Agatha's Jaegerkin have attacked Wulfenbach (Gil's) units - commandeering the Accursed Dragon and boarding the Heliolux AIrfleet Flagship. They've hit the Combat Control Center for the assault on Castle Heterodyne. As far as we know, Gil has not reached Castle Wulfenbach yet to override Boris' hysterical orders (I'm sure Boris as lost it by now) to destroy the Castle. Unless it's Klaus as directed by Lunevka. AndyAB99 14:57, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

The Jägers could possibly use the communications airship to broadcast their return. Or to get all of the Jägers that left the Baron into Mechanicsburg to fight alongside their wounded brethren from Mama Gkika's. ~Mysteria Femina~ (talkAvatar wall) 21:00, November 13, 2011 (UTC) [Edit: ignore the indent. I'm only leaving it still indented to give AndyAB99's response some context. 01:47, November 15, 2011 (UTC)]

My point is that both Gil and Agatha are now the "head of state" of their respective poltical enties which are currently at war with each other. They are no longer just kids in their late teens who are heirs to power. They are power now. That's the whole point of Violetta's argument with Tarvek. They each have responsibilities to their people. Under these circumstances, love can take a back seat real fast. To put in other words what I said earlier, a Heterodyne military unit (Jaegermonsters) has attacked a Wulfenbach military unit (Heliolux AIr Fleet). Agatha (through surogates and unknowingly) has just punched Gil (his surogates) square on the nose, figurtively speaking. I'm sure they'll sort it out, but it changes the whole perspective. AndyAB99 12:07, November 14, 2011 (UTC)

Oops, I shouldn't have indented my comment. It was not intended as a direct reply. Forgive my mistake. And looking at Monday's comic, it appears that the Jägers are indeed using the ship to get closer as I suggested. ~Mysteria Femina~ (talkAvatar wall) 01:47, November 15, 2011 (UTC)
