Problem solved--for now.

Now I am wondering if Othar's collar fell off. -- Billy Catringer 06:08, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

That would depend on how foolish the Baron was. He knows Othar is a dangerous fellow. Plus Othar's mission wasn't to repair the castle so the escape clause would not apply. His mission was to retrieve Gil, so the Baron would keep his end of the bargain only after that. The point may be moot now, but the Baron might have a good reason for not using real exploding collars. As long as the collars are impossible to remove who would test the exploding feature? This is assuming that the castle would take responsibility for keeping its workforce from going awol. 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 06:50, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

The Baron is the one that put collars on all the prisoners, so why wouldnt he use one on his enemy Othar? at the best he would modify Othars allowing him to leave the castle but not the town Agathahetrodyne 07:29, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

It's silly to assume that free from the Baron means free from the castle. Argadi 09:45, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

All the collars had Heterodyne sygils on them which means made by the heterodyne's , probably to contain their many guests (prisoners). also means the castle made the deal with the baron and supplied the collars, thats my theory anyway. Agathahetrodyne 17:18, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

That theory would answer a question that had come up in my mind: Why would the Baron spend the extra effort to tie the collars to the Doom Bell instead of just tying them to a button in Castle Wulfenbach? Would he even know the exact nature of how the Bell does its thing? It still doesn't make much sense to me to have the collars designed to fall apart at the sound, but maybe one of the uses that the old Heterodynes had for the the Doom Bell was letting their "guests" know that it was time to leave while providing a large helping of fear to get them on their way? On the other hand, why would the Baron spend extra effort developing the collars if the Castle was willing to create them? Sure, the Baron would have fun developing them, but he did have an empire to run. Argadi 10:19, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Forget Othar's collar. What about Agatha's? Van doesn't know about her locket. AndyAB99 11:32, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Agatha's is a fake. real 'splody collars go off if you try to remove them. but Agatha's collar was removed without exploding. It's a way to disguise her locket by making it look like something all the prisoners had. In any case, she'd have a short time to react if the collar broke up, and guarding the locket itself is reflexive by now. Datkhound 17:31, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Right about now is when the Professors like to throw up obsticles. Agatha becoming Lucrezia would be a big one. They've shown us the collars falling apart. We'll soon see if it's significant or not. AndyAB99 18:01, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Agatha's collar wasnt made by the castle , Barry made hers specially with only one thing in mind, restraining her spark till the time was right , and by sheer coincidence it restrains Lucreazia too, and now that she has had it off for a while, Aggy can still think like a spark even when wearing it. Agathahetrodyne 21:01, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Uncle Barry made Agatha's locket, not the collar. She was given a collar that matches the prisoners. Mamma Gkika seems to be wearing an indentical one. Whether it was a prisoner collar or just looked like one is an important question. AndyAB99 23:53, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
