Boris looks like he has just seen the light at the end of the tunnel. Now he is asking himself, "Is that daylight or a train?"-- Billy Catringer 06:29, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Or both? Yes, he does seem to know something. That, or he's monumentally confused, which seems doubtful. ~Mysteria~ (talk) 06:58, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Could Boris possibly be recalling this? It's a bit of a stretch, I realize, and its a pretty obscure detail for Boris to recall from so far back, but it might be on his mind as the Baron is talking with Gil about those first encounters with Agatha in Bettleburg. It's an instance (with Boris present) of Agatha giving a direct command to Gil (admittedly not in her command voice) and Gil (who was in the sparky madness place) ignoring her entirely, perhaps providing evidence that Gil is not actually wasped. Things are not looking good for Agatha's standings with the Baron. And even Gil is starting to sort of question himself. But he is right that the Baron is the one who ordered her on the ship. Heck, he only took her on CW for two reasons: for questioning about the Enigma, and to "occupy" the "breakthrough Spark" (aka Moloch). How on earth could she have plotted that? Not very easily... ~Mysteria~ (talk) 06:58, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
Yes, from Monday's discussion I think there are two options. (1) The Baron has somehow escaped the influence of his wasp and diagnosed Gil's, and he's right about everything. (2) The Baron is still wasped, and is making up all the stuff about what's in the Sturmhalten notes, Bang being poisoned, Gil being wasped. I think (2) is right because we saw that the Baron was wasped and know of no way for him to escape it by himself. I think Boris sees those two possibilities and has just become aware of the holes in the Baron's account of (1). Brrokk 07:36, April 11, 2012 (UTC)
I still think something is fishy here. The Baron was severely injured and in the hospital when the attack happened only a little while ago. He now seems completely healed. Maybe the theory expressed a few days ago that this may be a potion induced delusion may be true. Bang was cheesed enough to pour the potion down his throat while he was unconscious. Do unto others you know, you poison me, I poison you.
Something IS fishy in Europa. The Baron was injured severely but here (in panel 4) we learn from Boris that he had been placed in a Healing Engine and had removed himself once he had been sufficiently healed, but Klaus only knew that his troops had contained (in panel 4) Sturmhalten. We later find that there is a big army headed for Mechanicsburg from Sturmhalten (in panel 2) and we know, from Boris, that every unit that the Baron had sent to Sturmhalten had been subborned by what was in the city (in panel 4). So who could the Baron get the so called "secret laboratory" 'papers' (in panel 4) setting all the Baron's people against Gil from, except a tainted source. Maybe that is what Boris is suprised about? Dont foget that the Wasp Weasel (WW, panels 2&3) the Baron had is a altered one as opposed to all other (in panels 2&3) WWs in the story so far. The Baron is trying to railroad these proceedings and Gil is not wasped. The Baron is covering up. --User:Der_fliegende_Hollander
