He vos spectin' dem?

Sounds like someone found a solution to the wasps and the Other was trying to destroy these wasp eaters. I wonder if these things are organic, biomechanical (wasp engines, wasp weasels) or mechanical.--68.7.0.203 05:19, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Hmmm. Now the weasel handlers have left the airship. So we all know something has gone fishy. But when did Tarvek have time to give the Vespiary squad a heads up? Before or after he listened to Phil's story? After there did not seem to be time. If he did it before then it is because he did overhear Lu and Zola's conversation before he cut in. He has just been covering up the knowledge because ... well because he is him. Survival and credibility are on the line. So he may have needed to lie a little to protect that credibility. 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 06:03, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Not sure how Tarvek communicated with the Vespiary Squads, but he does have his sources. I can imagine that Lucrezia caused Klaus to put them under suspicion, at the very least. I wonder if one of them, with a weasel, got close to Klaus? This furthers my thinking that Gil is NOT wasped. They were no Vespiary Squad members present. Lucrezia wants the staff and crew to think Gil is so they won't listen to him. She is probably the one who poisoned Bang, if Bang is poisoned and not just being detained in isolation (she probably just burted out to Klaus that "Gil thinks you're wasped"). AndyAB99 12:47, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
Only thing though is that since Klaus is wasped and he was holding the weasel, why didn't that weasel go nuts at Klaus? Sure it's possible that it is just unable to detect the spark-specific wasp, however, if Gil really isn't wasped, then does this mean that the wasp weasels are flawed? Another possibility is that the wasp weasel is smelling Zoing, but this is highly unlikely.68.7.0.203 23:48, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
Klaus was not using a normal weasel. It was not part of a Vespiary squad. It was done specifically to discredit (and imprison) Gil and very likely at Lucrezias order. AndyAB99 01:08, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
OR...it occured to me ... No one can get near the weasels. Why? Did Lucrezia modify them to react to normal people instead of revenenants? AndyAB99 10:55, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
I was thinking the weasels are trapped in their little pet carriers in a chamber cut off by the crash. Tarvek wants the Jägers with him because forcible entry is something they're good at. He does need Dr. Breen recovered with minimum additional damage, but that would only take one.Datkhound 14:46, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
That's a possibility. Maybe we'll find out next page, if the scene doesn't change. AndyAB99 20:36, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

I supopose I could claim that I was half-right, but I won't. I'll jest sit here and be astounded like the majority of ya. -- Billy Catringer 09:29, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

ah well, at least my second guess (in terms of likelyhood) was right. Finn MacCool 09:49, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, gotta admire Tarvek's ability to get to know everyone who's anyone. His Rolodex must be the size of a Ferris Wheel. Of course, the Vepiary Squad are fond of weasels... --Gsulli7369 10:36, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

People are listening to Tarvek as he is verifiably telling the truth. He may be a devious weasel but under the circumstances he is being a straight shooter with those he needs to trust him. AndyAB99 14:00, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I quite agree, I was going for a chuckle with my last comment rather than making some sort of plot point. --Gsulli7369 13:36, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
I did chuckle. Then I went on to make a serious point. AndyAB99 20:36, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
Especially seein' as how he's talkin' about weasels. Clearly, Lucezia in her divers forms, is fending off the nearest alligator.-- Billy Catringer 20:33, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
"You were right about everything!" "And it's even worse than we thought-"
...
Now, that second statement makes me think he underinformed everyone,. I'm thinking he just gave the vespiary squad enough basic tips to get them to wade right into the thick of it, and by doing so, get marked for death by the empire...
...
It's a smart move by Tarvek, he forced the entire division to defect from the empire, & as prospective new employers go, Tarvek is building a stronger & stronger case as he helps them more & more. He's very subtle in his politics, I've got to give him that... I mean, his power base is divided by so many loyalties, & these guys almost unhirabe because of they, & everyone they talk to, have got a death sentance from the empire put upon them... That doesn't leave many prospective employers, hopfully the Jager Generals don't muscle in on his action, & Tarvek Gets an Army!Slowness 01:38, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

There's a new poll about a link on this page. Argadi 23:51, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
