Oh, well fiddle-faddle!

Oh, good, something more to carry. Tarvek was just getting comfortable with his current load. Argadi 09:17, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

hmm, the books tarvek is holding (or rather balancing on top of the vespiary girl) seem to be twisting all over the place. Finn MacCool 10:42, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

What? You want things to be getting easier for him? He's not out of the ship yet. He's turning into a living version of the stateroom scene in "A Night at the Opera". AndyAB99 12:28, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Judging from the kits' behavior, these weasels are the ones that go off when someone is not infected with a wasp. -- Billy Catringer 13:07, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
What behaviour? Frightened kits near their dead mother? These are new types, as Jorgi points out. They can reproduce! They don't have to be "built". Tarvek has to save them. AndyAB99 13:21, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
Whether I am right or wrong, Tarvek needs to save these wasp-weasel kits. They are the product of Doctor Brin's latest efforts. What made me think of them as the sort that will alarm on people without a wasp infection comes from several sources. First, is the wasp-weasel that Klaus used to inspect Gil. That tells us that there are wasp-weasels in existence that will alarm on uninfected humans. Second, Doctor Brin is dead and the Vespiary Squad decimated. Third, the kits' response to Tarvek and the Jager, neither of whom is infected with a wasp.

For a wasp-weasel, a wasp-weasel is a wasp-weasel is a wasp-weasel. Humans, on the other hand, fall into two categories as far as wasp-weasels are concerneddd; humans who are infected with a wasp and humans are not infected. One of the kits has clearly alarmed. I could be wrong about all of this, but I doubt it. -- Billy Catringer 13:49, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

This is where Otilia comes in, exhales flame suppressant, and coughs up a zillion tiny mechanoids to carry the wasp-weasels. Right? NathanTheRammer 16:20, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

nope. this is where tarvek lurches out of the airship and demands a chiropractor.^^ Finn MacCool 22:15, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Jager philosophers? The mind reels... SpareParts 03:30, June 28, 2012 (UTC)

On the third panel of the second row Travek talks about orphans before he has seen the kits. So where did he get this from ? From the weasel that has seen them ? I know he's a bit of a weasel himself, but how can he understand weasel talk? Tebee 19:31, June 28, 2012 (UTC)

I think it's more of a riff on "What's that Lassie? Timmy fell in the well? ... Again?" AndyAB99 20:51, June 28, 2012 (UTC)
