Discussion for comic for 2012-11-14 (Wednesday) ✣ . (Chronology Entry)
Um--is this a plot development, or did Phil screw up? Dimo appears to have a left hand. (Came back after I signed up to edit and sign!) Lady Blanc (talk) 15:39, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
Phil screwed up, just like Oublenmach hands are mechanical, normal flesh, then mechanical again.
If Agatha is going to try improving Gil's zappy stick, we have a more than a few pages to End of Volume. AndyAB99 (talk) 15:20, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- I think it has already been established that we have more than a few pages to go to the end of volume 12 (see my comment in last Monday's discussion). --William Ansley (talk) 19:19, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, yes, I see that in the first panel, Dimo clearly does not have his arm Whoopsie! Lady Blanc (talk) 15:42, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- well, it COULD still be someone (or something) else's hand.^^ Finn MacCool (talk) 18:57, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- I think it's pretty clear that it's an error. But, even if it is, I don't know if Phil will fix it, since it doesn't seem like an easy fix - it will either mess up the composition of that panel, or require redoing it from scratch. It would be funny if Phil is just messing with us and it does turn out to be someone else's hand on the next page. It would be even funnier if this happens and it turns out Phil did make a mistake and then did an instant retcon rather than fixing it. --William Ansley (talk) 19:16, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- It must be Dimos missing hand as he is right there and you can clearly see both hands. Agathahetrodyne (talk) 20:53, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- well, it sure would be fun if that was his hand AND not a mistake.^^ Finn MacCool (talk) 22:12, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, when I saw that, I wasn't sure if Dimo suddendly regained his missing hand all of a sudden somehow.68.7.36.184 03:05, November 15, 2012 (UTC)
