Be all you can brie! -- Billy Catringer (talk) 07:48, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Just another cheesy joke from the professors.
(For those new to the wiki, Cheese is a common theme.) Argadi (talk) 08:25, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
Emil invented a very cheezy cheese. 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 01:48, March 28, 2013 (UTC)

Is it just me, or does "Secretary girl" there look awfully metallic-gray in this page, almost clank-ish? Jagerdraught Braumeister (talk) 10:55, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Good gravy, girl! Tell him (us) your name! -- SpareParts (talk) 22:23, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
She has reason to keep it secret. The book relates her to Artimo van Rijn 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 01:49, March 28, 2013 (UTC).
By "the book", do you mean the third novelization? You've seen advanced copies? Or just heard or heard about Kaja reading a passage from it? AndyAB99 (talk) 11:31, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
The book they both carry. Follow the link and check out the mural. The prolog to the second novel Agatha H. and the Clockwork Princess gives the names of most of the muses. Artimo is the one with the book and the smokestack hat. My guess is that makes her the muse of industry. The book being both a history and an accounting ledger. 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 20:18, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
So you're saying the Muses can bleed? I thought they were clanks like Tinka, Moxana, and Otilia. AndyAB99 (talk) 21:35, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
I previously speculated that "The Assistant" is a student of Artimo, the muse of history and industry. It is conceivable that such a student has always been attached to the Seneschal's office . -- Billy Catringer (talk) 23:55, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
Just because she carries the town ledger around? I think you're stretching things a bit. Or is there any evident that Artimo is on Mechanicsburg? AndyAB99 (talk) 00:41, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
It's more than that and if you will bother to look long enough, you will see it. All the story tells us is that the nine muses were scattered about all over Europa. Why woudn't the Muse of History and Industry settle in a place like Mechanicsburg where the overwhelming majority of history and development occurs? This is merely a guess, but I think it is a good one.-- Billy Catringer (talk) 02:10, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
It is an interesting story but it's more fan fiction than anything so far presented in the comic. She carries the town ledger and appointment book. She's the Administrative Assistant to the Senechal of Castle Heterodyne who is also the de facto Mayor (Burgermeister) of Mechanicsburg. Just because a Muse is shown with a book does not automatically mean anyone carrying a book is somehow associated with that Muse.. As I said, an interesting idea and maybe the Foglios are using it. But it is a pretty tenuous connection at present. AndyAB99 (talk) 10:36, March 29, 2013 (UTC)

Say, is this page  http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20110208 new?  I didn't recall it. Max Mimmoth (talk) 14:55, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

It was added to fix the way double-page spreads would be printed in the dead-tree edition of volume XI. More information than you could possibly want to know about the reasons for and history of pages added to Girl Genius for this reason can be found here. -- William Ansley (talk) 17:37, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
