Done. Yus! NO!

Well... Gil got ahold of Agatha's "Wasp Eater Breeding For Dummies" book, and learned from Tarvek that the Vespiary Squad was not completely obliterated. On top of that monograph being made very available everywhere... Wasp eaters. Wasp eaters everywhere. There may be problems with that, though... The enemy may get ahold of a copy and figure out how to subvert the weasels' sensitivity to wasps. Then again, with it in the hands of so many sparks keen not to get wasped (or their minions wasped), they'd also be on the task of modifying them too. Slaver Wasp/Wasp eater arms race! --MadCat221 (talk) 05:49, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

The fact that the monograph is a plot device at all does not bode well for the wasp eaters, I think. At least the ones in Paris have probably been exterminated, otherwise they would at least have gone to the Library surely? On another note, do we know what kind of currencies are in use in Agatha's Europa? Have we seen any? I can only remember instances of barter trade (Edit: and we've seen coins of course, but the currency is somehow never mentioned, or am I remembering wrong?) --MasakoRei (talk) 06:23, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

The end of the second novel makes mention of Pax-Guilders. HS Yuna (talk) 10:11, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

'Mélisse' probably comes from 'Melissa', Greek for 'honey bee'. -- SpareParts (talk) 05:21, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Yep, 'Mélisse' is the modern french word for 'Melissa'. The word is used for the plant as well as for the sweets that are made with its flavor. --MasakoRei (talk) 06:55, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Why does Gil deal with Mélisse and not Monsieur Hux? Look who's holding the book in all panes. Gil knows who he ultimately must deal with to get that book. Little Mélisse appears to be a quick study. --MadCat221 (talk) 15:35, March 24, 2016 (UTC)
