Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Thinking about how Tweedle at this moment is trying on a fake beard that lights up makes me marvel again at the intricate planning going into Girl Genius. Argadi (talk) 11:31, June 13, 2016 (UTC)

The Storm King and the City of Lightning....could be a storm brewing.FlyingSpanner (talk) 14:01, June 13, 2016 (UTC)

He'll be disappointed to find he will be crushing a dried out husk. --MadCat221 (talk) 17:04, June 13, 2016 (UTC)

Hmm...  Interesting side-by-side comparison at the bottom of today's strip.  Martellus and Andronicus - two big guys who both claim to be the Storm King.  Both have red hair, button noses, a history of angry, violent outbursts, and a habit of talking through clenched teeth.  And they both have mechanical left hands.  It's almost as if one of them went back in time to become the other.  You don't suppose... ?  --128.227.43.50 19:12, June 13, 2016 (UTC)

Not unless some brain damage occured. Andronicus really doesn't seem to be a spark (the way he talks about van Rijn's machines). Martellus might look like an idiot, but he's stll a strong spark. --MasakoRei (talk) 05:36, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Look at the speech bubble used for Andronicus, it has a similar outline as a spark in the madness place. He just made the Storm King's sword light up from quite a distance underground. These facts might indicate that he is a spark, at least we know that he has some very unusual skills. He certainly did a number on Madwa's hand.FlyingSpanner (talk) 18:45, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
Well, he is the Storm King after all. Perhaps there is more to the job than the name suggests. -- Billy Catringer (talk) 18:53, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
He just looks angry to me. And he had van Rijn and probably other sparks working for him, so any sparky modifications could simply have been ordered. You might be right, but I don't see why a spark would call another spark a "conjurer" as if his inventions were some sort of magical artifacts. --MasakoRei (talk) 06:41, June 15, 2016 (UTC)
