Anyone else getting the not-so-subtle message that Andronicus and Martellus are the same person? The artists seem to be driving that point home pretty firmly today, particularly with that crazed look in panel 4. I assume we're going to be seeing some weird time travel to tie all of this together. 22.214.171.124 15:04, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
- That'd require a complete about-face from his usual brutality as he is for the time before Andy was a mad zombie. I think it's just a strong resemblance. --MadCat221 (talk) 15:31, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
- I realize it's not exactly canon, but the print-novel prologue from Andy's perspective doesn't give the slightest hint that he might be a covert time-traveler. I thought for a long time that Van Rjin might be that, but now that we've seen pictures of him, it appears unlikely too. --Geoduck42 (talk) 17:04, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
- I agree - the left hand power glove both of them have is a dead give away. I don't think he is an intentional time traveller. My guess is he and Agatha go back in time and she becomes his wife; stuff goes horribly wrong; Van Rijn tries to transfer Agatha's essence to the Enigma to save her and makes Martellus the zombie. - His POV seemed more in tune with Tarvek too. --126.96.36.199 17:12, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
