Girl Genius

Gritha Pantagruel is one of Gilgamesh Wulfenbach's minions.. er... staffmembers following his ascension to the title of Baron, and is seen on more than one occasion delivering announcements and reports to him in the workshops surrounding Mechanicsburg. She is distinct for her gargantuan proportions, being the creation of the (presumably late) Dr. Quintus Varangius, who was obsessed with the concept of size.

The diminutive scout and spy Susa is her "lab sister." Probably has no immediate relation to her fellow giant Doctor Gailliard Prunestroggle, but you never know.

Possibly relevant outside information[]

Her name and inconsistent size appear to come from the French novel series Gargantua and Pantagruel. The size of the giants would vary between chapters in order to enable astonishing images such as Pantagruel fitting into a courtroom to argue a case during one chapter and having a nation living between his teeth in another.
