At one point, after constructing a clank for the purpose of rescuing Othar Tryggvassen, Agatha sheepishly notes that she really likes nuts .

The first thing that Krosp notices when looking at Agatha's plans for the Battle Circus is a nutcracker .

When witnessing Zola making her claim to the Heterodyne mantle, Agatha and her companions are standing next to a street vendor selling nuts. His cart is labelled "Sparky's Nuts", which could be both a claim that the quality of his wares has benefited from Spark technology, and a wry comment on the madness of Sparks. (Or it could be a hint from the artist, Phil Foglio, that Zola's plan to usurp Agatha's place is, shall we say, less than rational.)
