Margerella vs Margolotta...
It is an aunt, so Violetta probably knew here from very early on... I have an uncle, which I call differently, because I could not pronounce his name correctly when I was very little. My parents use the same name while talking to me about him, everyone else - and my parents when they talk to someone else - use his regular name... It might be that.
Adventuress[]
User:Bosda Di'Chi changed "adventuress" to "adventurer", but Siege of Mechanicsburg p. 97 note 31 refers to her thus. Whether this means the Foglios are ignorant of the objectionable connotation (as probably most people are) or that this represents a limit to the "further excesses she reserved for Lord Selnikov alone"; nevertheless, this is the text. Incidentally, Mezzasalma also twice refers to Zola as an adventuress, when relating ✣ how she killed Diaz with the marshmallow gun (pp. 45 & 70). And Gil thinks of her as playing the part of one well in Voice of the Castle p. 309. Now, Zeetha was just in the previous pages suggesting otherwise, and Mezzasalma may similarly be using it as a term of abuse, but Gil is not thinking of it that way. Furthermore, in checking the dictionary (in particular, Webster's 1913), I find that in both cases they refer to a person attempting to advance socially by questionable means.
