Template talk:Site Index
From Girl Genius
(Redirected from Talk:Site Index)
This page is intended as both a standalone page and for inclusion in a main page template, similar to how it's done on some featured wikis. This will eventually help us request a spotlight. — m (talk) 18:16, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Could you provide links to the "site index" files for those wikis, or provide some clue about what you want in the site index? Argadi 19:32, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- They're right there on the main page on the links above. You may have to scroll down a little to see them. Smash Bros. has a very simple list of categories under "Navigation". Wowwiki has multiple indexes, some general, some listed because they would be frequently searched for or referenced: Welcome, General Info, Death Knights, World Info, Instances, etc. And I don't see an index on Wookiepedia's page, but I could have sworn one was there... hrm. (Edit: Aha. It was behind a javascript click.) Anyways, we just need to decide what we want there and how it should be displayed.
- Alternatively, we could decide to use that space for something else, like "Featured Article".

[edit] Requests
Could a link be added to the Image Category? That's the only thing I see missing that I'd like to have an easier route to get to, but I also understand why it wouldn't be here since its not actually a category of articles-- Axi 15:12, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
