Sanaa's narwhal is not the same as the subterranean mecha-narwhals[]

While I have added links to the pages referred to in the description on this page, I not at all sure that the "mechanical narwhal full of pirates" that Sanaa encountered was a submersible de terre. It certainly wasn't one if we take the name literally, since a submersible de terre would operate underground, not in the water. The fact that Professor Mezzasalma seems to recognize the narwhal mechas, but is surprised by the fact that they can operate above ground, seems to weigh against the idea that they are the same kind of vehicle that Sanaa encountered. Then again, perhaps Sanaa's narwhal was also "no ordinary subterranean mecha-narwhal." --William Ansley (talk) 21:47, August 24, 2012 (UTC)

Whether they are the same or just similar is something we need more info to determine. The scene is not complete and Sanaa is intimately involved. There is hope for enlightenment on the issue. Actually it is not clear that these are Iskenshod's creations only that Mezzasalma thinks so. This still allows it to be the best assumption we can make with the information we have been allowed so far.
The site has a policy of sticking strictly to canon on the main page. Bold editors are needed to enforce that policy. Fortunately everybody is an editor. We need only embolden them. Best, if it bothers you do something about it directly. Then respectfully field the blow-back. Remember this is a wiki. Mistakes can be corrected. 20px-1298786.png Rej¿¤¤? 21:25, August 25, 2012 (UTC)
Consider me emboldened (not necessarily a good thing). --William Ansley (talk) 03:30, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
