These are warriors presumably from the Irish province of Ulster. They appear to be martial magnetic power-armor suits ✣ used by the Corbettite Railway. They are dedicated to their charge. ✣
Speculation
Despite wearing Corbettite crests they do not appear to be monks themselves rather like the swissguard they are likely a mercenary force retained by the religious order as protectors.[mad theory]
