So it appears that my niche here, has become applying real-world information to in-universe ideas, to expand on the world that so sadly has not been elaborated on outside Central and Eastern Europe (mostly Romania).

So, uh, go me!

Also, I'm not sure, but I might have coined the word "clankmeister" in the context of van Rijn... Though in the proper Dutch, I believe it would be "klankmeester".

• Pet theories I'm particularly proud of:
  1. The (currently) bottom most theory on the page. In summary, the "Queen" is not one person/clank, but a gestalt personality of the entire English line of succession in a Castle Heterodyne-esque super-clank. The feminine identification is out of respect for the latest heir to "ascend", a fictionalized Queen Victoria.
