[edit] Weekly Commentary
[edit] Last week:
Status?! What happened to all our questions from last week? Did Maxim get his hat in return for putting question marks in everybodys stocking? Will the Maid of Mechanicsburg survive by skinydipping in the dyne? Will the resplendent duo make it a steam bath? What's the status of our favorite tyrant now? Will the professors ever learn the difference between winding up a audience and winding up an story? Will they care?
Stay tune for more frustrating answers in the next week of Agatha Heterodyne, Girl Genius.
Klaus's klank goes klunk. Klaus's bedrest is just what the Doctor ordered. The doctor takes his orders seriously.
Boris is up to his elbows in decisions and sassy Jaegers.
Will the Jaeger's wish him a Merry Holy Childs day? In the middle of May? What other message could Boris's favorite verbal sparring partner be bringing? Why are Klaus's revolting subjects revolting too quickly?
Learn something more or nothing at all in the next revolutionary week of Agatha Heterodyne, Girl Genius.
[edit] Why this is here
[edit] For your amusement of course.
I had started to help with the monthly descriptions. In May 2009 during all the action, the comics events were exciting. The descriptions got into details. They lengthened beyond the limits tolerated by others. The writings got squashed; then came back revised. The tone I had been striving for was gone. Missing that, I moved the May stuff to a personal commentary on the action page.
With the resumption of the main story line in July I have resumed the weekly commentary.

[edit] Bold time lines

Essentially mad internal timelines. What is our best guess as to the day of the week and time of the year for various events in the lives of our characters.
[edit] Great Pumpkin Conjecture
Timeline supposing that Bill and Barry were out figthing the Great Pumpkin just before the Castle mishap.
[edit] Dated Events
Dated links to online story subheadings.
[edit] Maddog's Madlab
An untamed laboratory for all sorts of dangerous experiments. Mad goggles¿¤¤? recommended.
[edit] Theory vs. Practice
[edit] Hypothesis vs. Theory
Most of what I do in the Fan Forums is speculation, conjecture and hypothesizing. If any of that becomes theory it will be because comic pages that haven't been written yet will verify the speculation to be immutable fact in the context of the GG story and canon. I am nonplussed and surprised that everything here gets labeled a theory.
[edit] Bon mots
- "Levity is what keeps airships afloat.
- Everything else is just ballast". --Rej
- The cure for boredom is curiosity.
- There is no cure for curiosity.
- Dorothy Parker, (attributed)[3]
- US author, humorist, poet, & wit (1893 - 1967)
- “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.
- One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day.
- Never lose a holy curiosity.”
- Albert Einstein [4]
- "We are all agreed that your theory is crazy.
- The question that divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct."
- - Niels Bohr, co-founder of quantum theory
[edit] Rej Maddog
The name comes from a combination of roles of a favorite actor. Both characters were madboys of the first order.
[edit] A Rej namesake
Ha. Found while googling. Obviously a close relative.
